| Testimony time! | We love sharing testimonies of what God is doing in Ukraine. Here are a few powerful stories from our summer camp season! | | | At one kids camp, a boy said he was a vampire and feared the light. A team member talked with him and discovered his real struggle was self-rejection. When she asked, “Why don’t you love yourself?”, he broke down and revealed his parents hated him. After staff prayed with him, the boy felt warmth in his heart. He stepped away briefly, then returned smiling and joyful, saying, “I just feel so happy!” | | | Later, in another conversation, they encouraged him to ask God about his identity. He prayed, “God, who am I?” and a moment later, he opened his eyes and said, “I hear Him saying: I am a person, and I am special.” It was a true miracle - the child heard God’s voice and accepted the truth about himself. | | | From then on, the boy visibly changed - becoming open, caring, and active. By camp’s end, he connected with others, showed creativity, and even danced. This testimony reminds us that taking time for one soul and listening to God can transform lives. | | | Abby's testimony
Abby joined us this summer to serve, and we were truly blessed by her visit. Here's her testimony from her time in Ukraine and Poland:
This summer, I had the incredible blessing of serving with the Solid Rock team during kids camps in both Poland and Ukraine. While it was my third time partnering with Solid Rock, it was my first time helping with the kids camps - and also my first time going alone. Despite that, the team welcomed me so warmly that it immediately felt like family. | | | "I was deeply moved by the impact Solid Rock continues to have in Ukraine. Their commitment to discipling kids and teens is powerful - they don’t just introduce them to Jesus, but walk with them as they grow in their faith and learn to reflect His character.
When I arrived, I faced some personal doubts. Not being able to speak Ukrainian, I questioned how God could use me. But He reminded me that what He desires most is our obedience. It's not about what we can do, but what He can do through us. His strength was made perfect in my weakness, and I saw that firsthand." | | | "Despite the language barrier, I was able to build strong relationships with the team and volunteers. It was beautiful to see how God's love crossed every barrier. I was also able to encourage the children and remind them that they are deeply loved and prayed for - even by people in other countries.
I'm so honored to have played even a small part in what God is doing in Ukraine. There is a real hunger for God, and the Solid Rock team is full of passionate, resilient people who are committed to making His Word known, no matter the cost." | | | This is your moment. Will you be part of the testimony? | | | In just a few weeks, we’ll be hosting our Teens Discipleship School—an incredible opportunity for young people to grow in their faith and walk closely with Jesus. Right now, we’re raising support to help cover the costs for teens who wouldn’t be able to attend otherwise.
We’re deeply grateful for your continued faithfulness and generosity. Together, we are shaping lives, impacting generations, and touching eternity. | | | | | And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
