| Hope in the Middle of War — Will You Stand With Us? | The Solid Rock Mission Update | | | One of our volunteers recently shared this heartwarming experience:
"Yesterday, before lunch, we asked the boys, ‘Can God surprise you? Can He do something nice for you?’ They said, ‘Yes! We would like buckwheat for lunch.’ When we arrived at lunch, we were curious ourselves — and there it was: buckwheat with meat. God had answered their prayer, even for such a simple wish. Later, we spoke with another group and asked how their day was, what they liked, and how lunch was. One boy said, ‘Yesss, it was so delicious, like in a restaurant!"
These children come from very different families, and we are so grateful that we can share the Word of God, show them His love, feed them, and give them treats, joy, and gifts. This is what your support makes possible. | | | In Ukraine, our final camp of the summer was held in Zaporizhia, with approximately 100 children. Just two days after the camp ended, a bomb destroyed a bus station only 400 meters away from where we had been. The reality of the war is very close, yet during the camp, God’s protection covered us, and the children experienced days full of games, songs, and the Good News of Jesus. In Poland, we concluded the season in Janów Lubelski, where we served refugee children and women at a local center. These camps became safe spaces where trauma was met with love, healing, and joy. | | | How You Can Help Right Now | | | We are praying for $23,000 to fully cover the cost of our camps in Ukraine and Poland — including transportation, fuel, food, utilities, and gifts for the children.
Every gift matters. Whether $25, $50, $100, or more, your generosity will help transform lives — both for the children who attend and for those who serve.
Please, continue to pray for our protection, wisdom, and health as we serve where God has called us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of this story of hope. Together, we are God’s hands and feet in Ukraine and Poland. | | | | | And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
