| | Say „Yes” to Jesus! | | Last news from Solid Rock Mission Poland | | | | This season was filled with special encounters, ministry, prayer, and testimonies of how God is changing people’s lives. We are happy to share a few stories from our mission with you — about a team of young people who dedicated their time to God, about the children we served, and about people who heard the Gospel and took a step toward Christ. | | | | At the end of May and beginning of June, the SMBS team came to join us. The team consisted of six young people: Ariella, Maksym, Tymofii (Tim), Sofia, Ilona, and Melissa. Immediately after completing their studies at Bible school, they began raising funds so they could come and serve on the mission.
Most of them came to serve alongside us for a month, dedicating this time to God and to people who need to hear about His love and acceptance. | | | | A Time of Prayer and God’s Presence | | | | At the beginning of June, we held a three-day fast. During this time, we sought God’s face, spent time together in fellowship, and filled our hearts with His Word. Each of us experienced God’s presence in our own way.
God reminded us of what we needed to repent of, whom we needed to ask for forgiveness, what we needed to let go of, and whom we needed to allow to heal our hearts.
Here is one of the testimonies: “For almost my entire life, I have struggled with comparing myself to others and with low self-esteem. My parents often compared me to other people, and this affected the way I saw myself and the people around me. Now I feel that God is setting me free from this.” | | | | Serving Children & Evangelistic Festivals in Lublin and Wrocław | | | | The SMBS team also held a VBS camp in Janow, at one of the centers that is still active today. There, they served children through a variety of activities and Bible stories, helping them discover and learn God’s truths.
The next events we especially want to highlight are the evangelistic festivals in Lublin and Wrocław.
Our team was responsible for the children’s program, talked with people one-on-one, performed a skit, and worshiped God together. It was especially encouraging to see people who may not have been interested in church before open up to conversation and stay for the program. | | | | One such testimony was about three girls who described themselves as “alternative.” They stayed for almost the entire program and even joined the children’s activity stations. For us, this was a beautiful reminder that God touches people’s hearts in places where we least expect it. It was especially incredible to see what God did in Wrocław.
At least seven churches joined us to serve the city and share the Gospel. Many people heard the Good News, and some took their first step toward Jesus. | | | | Over the course of five days of evangelism and during the festival itself, 432 people made a decision to follow Christ.
We praise God for His faithfulness, for every life that has been changed, and for everything He did in Wrocław. We believe that the seeds of God’s Word planted during these days will continue to bear fruit. | | | | Thank you to everyone who prays, supports our mission, and is part of what God is doing in Poland. Together, we can carry His love to the places where it is so deeply needed. | | | | Meet Anna — Called to Develop Ministry and Invest in Leaders | | | | This is Anna Rozhkova, a women’s ministry leader in the city of Rzeszow. She is responsible for organizing camps, evangelistic events for children and adults, as well as interactive gatherings that help unite and strengthen the team.
Anna has more than 15 years of experience in camp ministry. Today, she shares this experience and invests it into the development of local ministry.
