| Our mission is not a building, our mission is the people, and our team must continue to serve and function no matter what is happening around us. Because of the ongoing war in Ukraine, we are entering a season where we are forced to think differently. We are keeping our hands on the pulse so we can be ready to move/expand to western Ukraine if necessary.
Right now our ministry base is located just over 70 miles from the frontline. If our location is no longer safe to remain in and we are forced to evacuate, our ministry work cannot stop! We pray and believe that God will protect every missionary and every ministry location. We must stay united, stay mobile, and stay ready.
Whether or not relocating is required, we have a vision to expand. Right now, we’re not able to fully carry it out because many teens/youth from western Ukraine cannot come to our base in Zhamenivka due to how close it is to the war. But our vision remains the same: to reach the lost and make young disciples through missionary schools.
For this reason, I feel strongly that the Lord is calling me to prepare a missionary center in Western Ukraine — a place where our team can continue ministry, even if a temporary relocation becomes necessary. Not only do we have a mandate to keep our people safe, but we are also called to continue the mission and vision God has entrusted to us, without interruption.
Every dollar will go directly to securing the future of this mission. Just as persecution came in Jerusalem it forced the early church to expand. I truly believe that God is positioning us in this season, not to diminish but to grow and expand our reach.
Today, I’m asking you to pray and seek the Lord about what seed He would have you sow toward this urgent need. Your investment and partnership will ensure that the Solid Rock Mission continues to be unshaken and unstoppable, fulfilling the Lord’s assignment for us.
Thank you for standing with us. Together, we will not let the war stop the Gospel.
