and there are tens of thousands of such kids… She's only 2 years old and she was born in a wonderful Ukrainian city called "Kyiv."
This is what she will remember her city like:
- Her favorite kids playground , where she often loved to play. A coffee shop, where she drank some delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows, as she was drawing in a coloring book…but it all changed when the city started to get bombed by Russian forces and they had to flee.
And how many of her friends stayed behind in Kyiv! The parents, as much as possible, are encouraging their little ones, telling them good night stories in bomb shelters and building basements. It is unfortunately very difficult to explain to them how a brotherly nation can harm the Ukrainians like this. It's sad that to the forces of Russian Federation, it doesn't matter who you are. A soldier, a civilian or even someone's precious little child…they are killing everybody.
The doctors in Kyiv shed tears when injured children are brought to them, and more so for those whom they weren't able to save. Even the grown men cry… There are medical staff even now that haven't ate or slept for a few days, trying to save lives.
Ukraine is in need of your financial help as well as in need of your prayers! Little Betty is safe and sound now. She is in Poland, a true brotherly nation.
She's laughing again, but she's a different Betty now, not the same one that was a week or so ago. This little girl prays for peace in Ukraine, for her little friends and their parents.
